Every computer I have is given a scaly-themed hostname on the network. Since some computers in my collection are of similar make, it's easier to refer to them by their hostnames.
Every computer I have used to given a scaly-themed hostname on the network. As the number of computers increased, it became more difficult to find good scaly hostnames, so the scope has expanded to pretty much anything.
