Quirks
- Don't install Mac OS 9.2.2 using the 2013 universal CD. Sleep won't work due to a lack of drivers, and the display will be quite shrunken. Instead, use the "drag and drop" System Folder.
- The bottom right corner of the front bezel is popped out and refuses to pop back in, even when a 120-pound person sits on the computer. The only negative effect of this is loud noises from the speakers make the display vibrate.
- It is possible to install Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard on this computer, though it is a bit of a pain to do so. You will need to
dd
the ISO to a flash drive, make Open Firmware lie about the processor speed, disguise the flash drive as the CD-ROM drive, and have the patience to watch Leopard install at USB 1.1 speeds.
