The Dell OptiPlex 7020 is not an old computer. In fact, it is anti-old computer, because the onboard video hates my Hitachi SuperScan 812.

Quirks
- When connected to the Hitachi SuperScan 812, I only get a max of 1280x1024 -- and even then, it is a toss-up whether the image is clear or blurry.
- When the resolution is set below 1280x1024, the image is upscaled to that resolution! Yuck! It's not noticeable on an LCD monitor, but on a CRT monitor, it is yucky.
History
- 2021-09-26: The computer is transported to my apartment from an eBay seller in a two-pack. The second machine is used as a parts machine. Neither machine comes with storage.
- 2021-09-??: 📈 The RAM from gharial is added (8 -> 12).
- 2021-09-??: 📉 However, that RAM is slower (1600 -> 1333).
- 2021-??-??: 📈 The old 1 TB SSD from kobold is added.
- 2021-??-??: 📈 The RAM from gharial is replaced with RAM from the spare (12 -> 16).
- 2021-??-??: 📈 The original RAM speed returns (1333 -> 1600).
- 2021-??-??: 📉 The 1 TB SSD is replaced with a 250 GB hard disk.
- 2022-01-25: 📉 8 GiB of RAM is moved to the spare, and the spare is given to a friend.
